BIO:  Hi, my name is Kobe! I am a confident boy, a “life of the party” type, who is quick to show comfort in my surroundings. My foster parents think I am a natural-born leader with my take-charge personality. I am smart as a whip and true to my (likely) labrador roots, I have quickly learned how to fetch and return balls and toys, which provides me with great exercise (and boy, do I love working off some of my puppy energy!). I know my name and come when I am called. A quick learner, I can’t wait to practice learning more commands!
I am currently living in a home with multiple kids – preteen and older, and am loving all of the socialization, handling, and cuddles that come from being with many people. Like most puppies my age, I am still learning not to nip at my family’s fingers. Thank goodness they have been supplying me with lots of rope toys and chews…I need to keep my mouth busy! I am working hard on crate training! My foster parents are so proud of how I am able to sleep through the night in my crate and have continued to give me opportunities to chill out in it during the day as well. Sure, I might whimper for 10 minutes or so, but then I quiet down and take a puppy nap. I do have a ton of growing to do, after all!.
While my puppy energy is a bit too much for my senior citizen dog sister to handle, I think I would be very well paired with other, younger dogs who could embrace my extroverted personality. It’s been great having her around to teach me how to go potty outdoors, which I have been doing a great job at so far! As long as my parents keep me on a frequent and consistent potty schedule, my accidents indoors will be few. Despite all of my energy, I am still a young pup who loves to nap and cuddle in your lap. With my soft, jet black fur and deep ebony eyes, I am a heartbreaker pup who is bound to grow into one handsome fella for you to adore. I am a “people’s dog” who is ready and willing to be your best friend if you have the energy and love to help me grow into the best dog I can be! I can’t wait to meet you!
