BIO: Hi, my name is Pluto! My foster family tells me that I am filled with otherworldly beauty and sweetness. I love playing with toys, sleeping and cuddling on my foster family’s laps and when possible, curling up close to my 4-legged foster siblings. And…I just love to give KISSES. When I first joined my foster family, the big dogs play-barks scared me, but now I bark back! I have started going on walks with my foster parents and the big dogs and really enjoy exploring all the smells. I also love exploring EVERYTHING in my yard, where I often get puppy zoomies! I get the zoomies in the house, too! Did I mention that I love to retrieve balls and toys? I am as much I am independent as I am a Velcro puppy – just miss getting stepped on by my family. They tell me that won’t happen for too long because I am going to be a BIG, BIG boy filled with lots of love to give. I am sensitive to noise and sometimes get scared. My foster mom thinks that sensitivity makes me more responsive to her corrections. I make my foster mom laugh when I pay attention to the TV or what is on her computer and when I try to protect the family from the vacuum cleaner by continuously barking at it. I cry for a bit when I get put into my crate at night but for the most part, I never make a peep after I go to sleep. I am working on both my crate and potty training but my new family will have to continue with that training. I would love a family that will shower me with love, give me lots of exercise, and continues with my training! Chicagoland Dog Rescue Dogs
Our trained volunteers will determine which home among all applicants is the best fit for the dog, and the dog will be brought back to complete the adoption paperwork. Our adoption fee is $400-450 for puppies 7 months and up and dogs. The fee covers the cost of all medical care including all legally required inoculations, a fecal test and deworming (if required), spaying or neutering, and a microchip. Lifetime training is also included.

All our dogs have all legally required preventative inoculations, are microchipped and are spayed or neutered to control the repetitive birth cycle that produces more unwanted dogs. Most have been rescued from kill shelters in the Midwest, so their exact breed and age is often unknown. All dogs have been medically or emotionally rehabilitated as needed and are temperament tested to assess their fit with other dogs, cats and children.

Chicagoland Dog Rescue reserves the right to restrict adoption of a dog to potential adopters who live within a fifty (50) mile radius of Schaumburg, IL
Weekly socialization and basic obedience training is offered to all adopters FREE OF CHARGE for the lifetime of the dog, something no other group offers! Training is crucial for happy dogs and ensures that our adopted dogs remain in their happy households forever. A minimum of 4 training sessions is required for all adopted dogs.
