BREED: Great Pyrenees Mix
AGE: 16 weeks
BIO: Hi, my name is Sarah and I came up from Alabama with my brother Sonic to find a furever home. We are BIG puppies and will most likely be BIG adults! The shelter said we were Great Pyrenees mixes. They don’t know exactly what we are mixed with, but we are awfully cute! We are a little shy when we first meet someone, but we do warm up after a while. If you give us a treat, we will be friends for life! Our foster mom says we are pretty laid back puppies, but we do have bursts of energy. We especially like to run around the yard. We are doing well with our potty training and don’t mind our crate. We do cry sometimes at first, but settle down pretty quickly.
I do happen to be a toy hoarder! All toys must go in the crate for safe keeping. Sometimes there are so many toys in the crate, our foster mom has to pull them all out so there is room for us. Then I work very hard to eventually get them all back in again!
I would love to meet you at our Saturday adoption event at Petco from 1030-200!
Puppy love and kisses-Sarah

Begin by filling out an adoption application and we start pairing you with your perfect pooch!
Chicagoland Dog Rescue Dogs
Our trained volunteers will determine which home among all applicants is the best fit for the dog, and the dog will be brought back to complete the adoption paperwork. Our adoption fee is $300 for adult dogs aged 7 months and up and $375 for puppies. The fee covers the cost of all medical care including all legally required inoculations, a fecal test and deworming (if required), spaying or neutering, and a microchip. Lifetime training is also included.
All our dogs have all legally required preventative inoculations, are microchipped and are spayed or neutered to control the repetitive birth cycle that produces more unwanted dogs. Most have been rescued from kill shelters in the Midwest, so their exact breed and age is often unknown. All dogs have been medically or emotionally rehabilitated as needed and are temperament tested to assess their fit with other dogs, cats and children.
Chicagoland Dog Rescue reserves the right to restrict adoption of a dog to potential adopters who live within a fifty (50) mile radius of Schaumburg, IL
Weekly socialization and basic obedience training is offered to all adopters FREE OF CHARGE for the lifetime of the dog, something no other group offers! Training is crucial for happy dogs and ensures that our adopted dogs remain in their happy households forever. A minimum of 4 training sessions is required for all adopted dogs.
Details on our training program can be found here.
