Tinsley-adopted

BREED: Rat Terrier Mix
AGE: 14 weeks
SEX: Female
BIO: Hi, my name is Tinsley! I’m an extremely sweet little girl who loves squeaky toys, exploring, playing with other dogs, eating yummy snacks and food, learning new tricks, giving kisses and snuggling with my foster mom, foster sister and even my much bigger foster doggie brothers and sisters. I make my foster mom and sister laugh a lot with my cuteness! I have potty pads in the house right now simply because my foster mom’s yard is all muddy and I’m so little. On nice days, I go potty outside but since I get cold so quickly I also have potty pads. I have a funny personality and I squeak when I squeak my toys. I love being in the same room as my foster mom or I cry because I miss her so I would like a family that is home a lot. I am very smart, playful and have a perfect balance of energy. And… my foster mom tells me all the time how cute I am!  Like all puppies, I am looking for my furever family or person to have lots of love to share with me because I have lots to give, lots of patience because I am a puppy and bound to make mistakes, and lots of time to work on training with me because it will only help me be the very best new member of the family!  If you are interested in meeting me, please fill out a pre adoption application or send an email and a CDR volunteer will get back to you just as quick as they can!

Chicagoland Dog Rescue Dogs

Our trained volunteers will determine which home among all applicants is the best fit for the dog, and the dog will be brought back to complete the adoption paperwork.  Our adoption fee is $400-450 for puppies 7 months and up and dogs.  The fee covers the cost of all medical care including all legally required inoculations, a fecal test and deworming (if required), spaying or neutering, and a microchip. Lifetime training is also included.

All our dogs have all legally required preventative inoculations, are microchipped and are spayed or neutered to control the repetitive birth cycle that produces more unwanted dogs. Most have been rescued from kill shelters in the Midwest, so their exact breed and age is often unknown. All dogs have been medically or emotionally rehabilitated as needed and are temperament tested to assess their fit with other dogs, cats and children.

Chicagoland Dog Rescue reserves the right to restrict adoption of a dog to potential adopters who live within a fifty (50) mile radius of Schaumburg, IL

Weekly socialization and basic obedience training is offered to all adopters FREE OF CHARGE for the lifetime of the dog, something no other group offers!  Training is crucial for happy dogs and ensures that our adopted dogs remain in their happy households forever.  A minimum of 4 training sessions is required for all adopted dogs.

Details on our training program can be found here.
