BIO: HELLO EVERYONE! My name is Yogi and I bet I can read your mind. Yes, you are right!!!!! I AM the most adorable puppy you have ever seen! And yes, I do have beautiful blue eyes, and yes you need to hurry up and fill out your adoption application so you can be my forever person or family! So how did I do? Bet you also want to know more about me, right? Well, I am staying with my foster family and two foster fur sisters and they all LOVE me. My foster mom says that I am the sweetest boy that has the best combination of playful and chill puppy all rolled into one. We have been working on my potty training and I am doing an amazing job. I also am really good about staying in my crate at night and when my foster family is not at home. When I am not in my crate, I LOVE to cuddle and get belly rubs. I am very gentle but not shy at all. I love to meet people and my foster fur sisters and I get along great! My foster mom says that I am very smart! I have already learned to sit and can’t wait to give a paw to get a treat! I love to play with toys, especially if they are stuffed and squeak. And fetch? I found out as long as you keep bringing the ball back, they keep throwing it! I always come when I am called, especially at meal time. My foster brother says I give amazing back rubs if you come down to my level and lay on the floor with me. I know I still have a lot to learn, but I know that with your love and patience, and continued training I am going to be the best me possible. I have to get going now, but I can’t wait to meet you in person so you can see how truly Terrific I really am. Begin by filling out an adoption application and we start pairing you with your perfect pooch!
Chicagoland Dog Rescue Dogs
Our trained volunteers will determine which home among all applicants is the best fit for the dog, and the dog will be brought back to complete the adoption paperwork. Our adoption fee is $400-450 for puppies 7 months and up and dogs. The fee covers the cost of all medical care including all legally required inoculations, a fecal test and deworming (if required), spaying or neutering, and a microchip. Lifetime training is also included.

All our dogs have all legally required preventative inoculations, are microchipped and are spayed or neutered to control the repetitive birth cycle that produces more unwanted dogs. Most have been rescued from kill shelters in the Midwest, so their exact breed and age is often unknown. All dogs have been medically or emotionally rehabilitated as needed and are temperament tested to assess their fit with other dogs, cats and children.

Chicagoland Dog Rescue reserves the right to restrict adoption of a dog to potential adopters who live within a fifty (50) mile radius of Schaumburg, IL
Weekly socialization and basic obedience training is offered to all adopters FREE OF CHARGE for the lifetime of the dog, something no other group offers! Training is crucial for happy dogs and ensures that our adopted dogs remain in their happy households forever. A minimum of 4 training sessions is required for all adopted dogs.
