BIO: Hello! My name is Dot and yes…I have all the best spots on my adorable coats! Right now I am tiny but mighty! Not afraid to climb chairs or explore the great outdoors. Walking is great because I love to sniff everything! I am pretty smart for a young pup, have mastered crate training, and am working very hard to learn all the important things I need to know to be the very best new member of the family! I LOVE stuffies! I love to cuddle them and chew on them and carry them around…but beware…I’m not so good at telling the difference between my toys and fluffy slippers! What more could you ask for? I am a great walker, great player and all around great girl…my foster family tells me that all the time! If you would like to meet me, please fill out a preadoption application and a CDR volunteer will get back to you just as quick as they can!

Chicagoland Dog Rescue Dogs
Our trained volunteers will determine which home among all applicants is the best fit for the dog, and the dog will be brought back to complete the adoption paperwork. Our adoption fee is $400 for adult dogs 7 months and up, $300 for senior dogs, and $525 for puppies. ($700-$800 for bonded pairs.) The fee covers the cost of all medical care including all legally required inoculations, a fecal test and deworming (if required), spaying or neutering, and a microchip. Lifetime training is also included.

All our dogs have all legally required preventative inoculations, are microchipped and are spayed or neutered to control the repetitive birth cycle that produces more unwanted dogs. Most have been rescued from kill shelters in the Midwest, so their exact breed and age is often unknown. All dogs have been medically or emotionally rehabilitated as needed and are temperament tested to assess their fit with other dogs, cats and children.

Chicagoland Dog Rescue reserves the right to restrict adoption of a dog to potential adopters who live within a fifty (50) mile radius of Schaumburg, IL
Weekly socialization and basic obedience training is offered to all adopters FREE OF CHARGE for the lifetime of the dog, something no other group offers! Training is crucial for happy dogs and ensures that our adopted dogs remain in their happy households forever. A minimum of 4 training sessions is required for all adopted dogs.
