BREED: Pit Mix
BIO: Hi, my name is Margo and I am ready to find my forever family or very special individual! I just so happen to be a spectacular 5 year old Chicago Dog who has been living the good life in a wonderful foster home but now the time has come to find my happily ever after. I love people and would make a great addition to a family with older kids or just a person looking for the love of their life! My foster family and I will be taking applications and interviewing her potential adopters. Listed below are our requirements:
*Comfortable furniture and plush dog beds are a must. A girl likes to get her beauty sleep!
*A fenced yard with room to explore and play ball. Comfy patio furniture for sunning and napping is a plus!
*Daily walks in a quiet setting for nature watching would be ideal!
*A family with older kids or a person skilled in the art of snuggling and giving belly rubs will earn you bonus points!
*I MUST BE the ONLY animal in the house. This diva wants all your attention! (I don’t like other animals! No exceptions will be made to this requirement. No other dogs, cats, pot bellied pigs, etc. None.)
Seriously, my foster says I am pretty darn perfect. I will make the most wonderful companion.

Chicagoland Dog Rescue Dogs
Our trained volunteers will determine which home among all applicants is the best fit for the dog, and the dog will be brought back to complete the adoption paperwork. Our adoption fee is $300 for adult dogs aged 7 months and up and $375 for puppies. The fee covers the cost of all medical care including all legally required inoculations, a fecal test and deworming (if required), spaying or neutering, and a microchip. Lifetime training is also included.
All our dogs have all legally required preventative inoculations, are microchipped and are spayed or neutered to control the repetitive birth cycle that produces more unwanted dogs. Most have been rescued from kill shelters in the Midwest, so their exact breed and age is often unknown. All dogs have been medically or emotionally rehabilitated as needed and are temperament tested to assess their fit with other dogs, cats and children.
Chicagoland Dog Rescue reserves the right to restrict adoption of a dog to potential adopters who live within a fifty (50) mile radius of Schaumburg, IL
Weekly socialization and basic obedience training is offered to all adopters FREE OF CHARGE for the lifetime of the dog, something no other group offers! Training is crucial for happy dogs and ensures that our adopted dogs remain in their happy households forever. A minimum of 4 training sessions is required for all adopted dogs.
Details on our training program can be found here.
