Pumpkins and Pooches

Pumpkins and Pooches and Pies… Oh My! Our annual Pumpkins and Pooches event is Saturday, 10/26!
Please come join us at the Petco in Schaumburg on Saturday, October 26, between 10:30 AM and 3:00 PM for our annual fall event Pumpkins and Pooches!
A photographer will be there to take your dog’s fall photo and plenty of treats for you and your pooch to purchase. It’s open to other critters you may own, as well.
Photos are $5 or 2 for $8. They are printed instantly, so you’ll walk out with a frame-worthy picture. No appointments are necessary–just stop by with your pup. Costumes aren’t required, but we will have some on hand if you want to dress up your pet. Our Halloween themed backdrop and props make for a great photo. Or, bring the whole family and make it your annual family portrait – all animals and humans are welcome!
While you’re there, enjoy some freshly-baked treats at our bake sale. We will have all kinds of sweets for humans, and even some treats for dogs! All items are lovingly baked and donated by our volunteers, friends and supporters and all funds raised go directly to helping rescue dogs in need.
Do you love to bake? Please consider making something for our bake sale! We’re looking for home made cookies, cupcakes, cakes, brownies, pies or whatever your specialty is. Homemade dog treats are also welcome! It’s such a great (and easy) way to support the cause. Please email chidogrescue@gmail.com for more information on donating a treat to the bake sale.
